No Political Solution

That's a line from a Police song by Sting ("Spirits in the Material World").

There is no political solution because the problem is, politics exists, or we believe it exists.

Nevertheless, here's a required (?) reading list:

• This Interview with John Zerzan hits the nail on a high percentage of the proverbial head. The "nail" he hits is one you don't even know exists.

• Instant Runoff Voting: I actually have bragging rights here, having coined the term "Instant Runoff Voting" in 1996 (but the voting system itself is much older than I am).

Truth (?) in Hardcopy

The information in this book offers to transform childrearing in a way that transcends all the others. This is because it's not based on some Ph.D.'s theory. It's based on observations of the way adults, children and infants interact amongst First Peoples and of the well-adjusted non-neurotic people that result. You can order it here.
